Each ticker passes through 4 independent gates: Volatility Edge (IV rank, IV vs HV spread, volume activity), Quality (market cap, ROE, debt levels, earnings consistency), Regime (market conditions, sector rotation), and Info Edge (insider trades, analyst ratings, options flow). Each gate scores 0-100. When 3+ gates score above 50, we flag the setup with high conviction. Strong signals also clear a 7-layer confirmation (zone, historical edge, IV/RV, flow, skew, residual, plus a gamma-squeeze bonus) before an alert goes out.
Grades reflect the weighted composite score across all 4 gates. A (80+) and B (65-79) are the highest-ranked by the screen. C (50-64) is mid. D (35-49) and F (below 35) rank lower or show conflicting signals. We send alerts for A and B grades that clear at least 3 of the 4 gates.
